The Homer and Dolly Hand Art Center is a 5,000 square foot facility on the campus of Stetson University designed to house and exhibit the University’s extensive art collection. The Art Center serves to inspire lifelong learning and to enrich the community by promoting a critical reading of art as it shapes our cultural and intellectual history.

DeLand University's name was changed in 1889 to honor hat manufacturer John B. Stetson, a major benefactor of the university. Erik Blome's commissioned sculpture was installed on Palm Court in 2019.

The Museum is a source of cultural focus and is recognized statewide by its peers for academic excellence and community outreach. It is host to rotating exhibits, gallery talks, receptions, educational programming, master artist workshops and special events throughout the year.
