The AAMA is a not-for-profit arts facility dedicated to promoting multicultural artistic excellence and providing educational, historical and cultural opportunities to all ages, specifically the African American community, in visual, literary and performing arts while encouraging interaction with the community through on-site and outreach exhibitions, presentations and historical research.

Originating in 2010, the DeLand Sculpture Walk is an on-going collaborative effort between the City of DeLand and the Museum of Art - DeLand. The artwork changes every year or two and features a variety of styles and mediums. Videos of past exhibits can be seen on the Happenings Page under Past Happenings. The Homer and Dolly Hand Art Center is a 5,000 square foot facility on the campus of Stetson University designed to house and exhibit the University’s extensive art collection. The Art Center serves to inspire lifelong learning and to enrich the community by promoting a critical reading of art as it shapes our cultural and intellectual history.

The Museum of Art – DeLand is a vital and interactive 501(c)3 non-profit visual arts museum enriching the community through its dedication to the collection, preservation, study, exhibition and educational use of the fine arts. The Museum is a source of cultural focus and is recognized statewide by its peers for academic excellence and community outreach. It is host to rotating exhibits, gallery talks, receptions, educational programming, master artist workshops and special events throughout the year.

Built into the south breezeway entrance of DeLand's City Hall, this mural celebrates the towns relationship with the St. Johns River.
